On a personal level, Indians are notoriously dishonest, far worse than the Chinese. Every agreement I have ever made with Indian manufacturers has been broken. This includes substituting different metals in the manufacturing process. Legal recourse in India is a an Orwellian nightmare, and Indians companies know it. India is one of the last places in the world you would want to conduct business. Indian-Americans have told me that Indians are cheats and that they know better than to conduct any business there, even with their own relatives.Navigator wrote: Tue Jun 16, 2020 7:24 pmIndia for too long has held to the idealistic notion of being "non-aligned", and now it is probably going to pay the price.
The Indian government has always played both sides of the fence and thus is an extremely unreliable ally. The government is also intrinsically corrupt. It's pointless to make agreements with them. Even the agreements with Japan have been one-sided. That's why no one really cares what happens to the Indians. There is no affection for them at all.
India is running out of water. THE END.
