What I did was take three countries (China, Iran, and Turkey), and all countries that border them. Those countries are the "Extreme Risk" countries. The remaining countries that border the "Extreme Risk" countries are "High Risk." The remaining countries that border "High Risk" are "Medium Risk." The rest of the world is "Low Risk."

Regions are defined according to the official UN geoscheme. If even one country in a region is "Extreme Risk," then the entire region is "Extreme Risk." If even one country is "High Risk" but no country is "Extreme Risk," then the entire region is "High Risk." And so on and so forth.

Based on my calculations, 53% of the world's population will be living within the main conflict zone. The other 47% will have to prepare for a massive spillover.

Meanwhile, eight countries have been affected in a massive cyberattack that apparently originated from Russia.

Those countries are Belgium, Canada, Israel, Mexico, Spain, the UAE, the UK, and the USA.

Some are saying this is an act of war by Russia.

There is so much doom and gloom it is hard to take these predictions seriously. Live on a seastead for years? Seriously? Why not just move to the backwoods of insert innocuous US State/ European region and get to know your neighbors? Outside of getting nuked because of Middle silos, how would rural North Dakotans be at risk compared to New Yorkers residing in Manhattan?

“Farming is the oldest form of gambling” - every old farmer I’ve spent time with, and while that quote may apply to making a living at it, I heard to many horror stories of borderline death from starvation from the very same 90 year old + farmers.

I also don’t understand this sentiment where the United States as a whole collapses and fails. Certain regions might collapse and fail, but I could easily see certain states and regions continuing on as if nothing happened.

I came here to ask about this too. I'm not a computer expert. Why do governments even place secrets in computers? Wouldn't hatd copies be a better idea?

-Anywhere in Asia
-Eastern Europe
-Southern Europe

High Risk
-East Africa
-Micronesia
-North Africa
-Northern Europe
-The United States and Canada

Medium Risk
-Anywhere in South America
-Australia and New Zealand
-Caribbean
-Central Africa
-Central America
-Polynesia
-West Africa
-Western Europe

Low Risk
-Melanesia
-Southern Africa
Africa can't feed itself. It's also running out of water, has poor infrastructure, and corrupt and inept governments. I wouldn't want to live there now. These countries survive via foreign aid which includes huge amounts of donated food and medicine. The medical systems in many African countries are staffed by foreign doctors and medical staff. These countries are all on the razor's edge. After a world war breaks out they will all lose life support. All of them. North African countries are run well compared to sub-saharan ones, but North Africa is poorly run by Western standards. Black Africa barely functions at all. Public transportation consists of riding in dump trucks and on top of vans. When war breaks out the electriciry will go off, the oil will run out, and the Africans will starve to death. They will no longer have the option of migrating to Europe. I wouldn't want to be there when that realization comes over them.

I speak from experience.

The modern buildings in Africa you see now where built by colonial governments or constructed by the Chinese. It's all a veneer. The average African lives in hell. Do you want to join them there?

You have a good point.

North and Southern Africa are generally self-sufficient when it comes to food, while Central, East, and West Africa are not.

Once the war begins, East and North Africa will be overwhelmed with refugees from the main combat zone. North Africa will probably be able to hold on for a while, but East Africa will quickly buckle under the pressure and descend into chaos. When that happens, many people living in East Africa will become refugees alongside the foreigners their countries took in. Some will take a risk and try to migrate to the West (particularly Australia, New Zealand, Melanesia, Polynesia, and Western Europe, which will be the only regions of the West that won't be either part of or directly adjacent to the main combat zone), but most won't bother and instead migrate either north or south. Central and West Africa won't be an option because they too will be descending into chaos due to much of their food imports being cut off by the war. At that point, North Africa probably won't be able to handle much more, and neither will Southern Africa.

Nonetheless, even then Africa will still be in better shape than Asia when the war is over.

Charlie Foxtrot. How are these millions of refugees supposed to flee? Canoes? Where will they get fresh water for their journeys? They won't.

Some countries (Russia) use type writers and paper for secret files. Some businesses must use typewriters too.

The number of Americans buying guns right now is so high that there is a large delay in background checks in some states. Tells you all you need to know about what Americans think about our prospects.
