I'm revising my geopolitical power measurement methodology, relying solely on GPI rather than that combined with HHMI and HHI. The reason I'm doing this is because having looked more into these indices, I've learned that GPI is by far the most detailed, as well as the only one that includes policy choices as dependent variables.

That being said, here are the top 20 most powerful countries in 2021, per GPI only.

** 09-Jan-2021 World View: Apple bans Parler, joining Google

Democrats are continuing with the standard genocidal playbook, one
step at a time, to impose total control over the 75 million Trump
supporters.

On Saturday evening, Apple banned Parler from its iPhone app store.
On Friday, Google did the same from its Android app store. This means
that they are preventing installation of the Parler app on iPhone and
Android phones, respectively.

Parler is a Twitter competitor that has been growing in popularity,
mainly with conservatives. It's popularity skyrocketed in October
when Twitter banned any tweets referencing the NY Post, the oldest
newspaper in America, and the fourth largest in the country, because
it had published a true story about Hunter Biden's criminality.

Trump supporters have been opening Parler accounts in the millions,
and this is frightening the hell out of the Democrats, especially
after Trump has announced that he has been negotiating with "various
other sites" and would have a "big announcement soon," and possibly
build his own platform. An independent Trump platform that can't be
censored by the Democrats would be a big threat to the Democrats, and
they know it and are scared to death about it.

The Democrats' message in banning Parler is this: We're getting Trump,
and if we can get Trump, we can get anyone, and we're coming for you.

Parler isn't actually banned, of course. It's just not in the
Apple/Google app store. I'm familiar enough with Android technology
to know that you can bypass the Google app store Google Play, and
install apps from other sources. In fact, if you go to the Parler
home page, parler.com, and scroll waaayyyy to the bottom of the page,
you'll see Apple and Android icons. The Android icon is for the
Parler app that you can download from there. The Apple icon takes you
to iTunes, where you presumably be blocked.

Banning Parler was just the latest step. The Democrats are terrified
of Trump and the 75 million Trump supporters, and they've done many
illegal things with impunity to stop Trump. There will be more.

Its hard for good people to win these battles. They are fighting people who have knowledge of good AND evil. Like playing against a football team thats allowed to cheat and has the refs in their back pocket.

From a blue perspective, it seems proper to ban the advocacy of committing crimes, or countering alleging stuff for which there is no evidence. If you are for law and order, it goes both ways.

China has yet to annex the South China Sea. Trump’s policies seemed to be pro Russia, but he still tried to contain China. The Chinese artificial islands seem to be sinking. They have given up on developing carriers. Old Cold War treaties which banned the US from developing missiles to counter China’s are expiring. The Chinese economy is a mess with floods, problems importing Australian coal and poor air quality from burning poor local coal. This is one place where Trump has done OK. The CCP is still pursuing brinkmanship though. Containment has to be continued.

BLM protest are fine. Rallies objecting to the election results are fine. When the looters, Boogaloo Bois, Proud Boys, secret police, the bad cops, militias, Wolverine Watchmen or any organization of any color goes astray of the law, suddenly it is OK to be a law and order guy. Just keep it non political. There should be only one justice system that applies to all. Currently there is a tendency to respond to black protestors but not to red insurrectionists. I’m inclined to believe the law ought to work on color blindnesss a bit more.

Oh yeah, Apple jumped right in when the thugs from ANTIFA and BLM rioted and murdered and assaulted and looted, didn't they? Pardon me, ma'am but you hypocrisy is showing.

Taiwan has a series of islands just off the coast of China. When China invades them what will the Biden-Harris administration do? That will be the most crucial and most critical decision that they will make. My prediction is at the United States will acquiesce. The question at that point will be whether a merger or an acquisition has occurred - whether USA inc has merged with the CCP or whether the CCP has acquired the USA - made it a client state, a subsidiary of China. ie courtesy of the Biden-Harris administration the USA has been cuckholded by China.
