The question of where the country is going, and how the catastrophe in
Washington will end, is discussed frequently in this forum. And
actually I've answered this question probably dozens of times in the
past already, but perhaps it's time to do so again, by responding to a
couple of e-mail messages I received recently.
So that's one message. Here's another one that's a tiny bit more> "I am a strong fan of your work and believe

explicit, in response to yesterday's article on Afghanistan:
Well, since you asked so nicely ...> "Who the fuck cares. Why don't you stop wasting time

So the first thing is that there are a lot of people who care about
Afghanistan, starting with the families of veterans who fought there
before, and the the families of people that may have to fight there in
the future.
Second, "how we beat the commies" is way outside of my skill set.
There are probably a million people who could opine on "how we beat
the commies," but I may be the only person in the world who could have
written yesterday's article on Afghanistan, so I try to stay within my
skill set.
I can certainly understand the anger. The 74 million Tea Partiers and
Trump supporters are becoming increasingly furious at what's become of
the Democrat party.
The Democrat Party is becoming a Marxist-Fascist regime, with a
Marxist-Fascist militia antifa-blm.
Conservative writer Dennis Prager spent years working in the old
Soviet Union, reading Pravda every day. Appearing on Fox News
yesterday, he said how shocked he was that the NY Times has turned
into Pravda, and how he never thought he would ever see anything like
that in America. I agree, as I've said in the past -- I never
believed that the harsh Stalinist censorship regime imposed by the
Democrats would be possible in America.

And yesterday we had a new shock when the Democrats announced plans to
pack the Supreme Court, which would give them total control of all
branches of government, the mainstream media, Big Tech, and many
corporations. This follows opening the southern border to millions of
illegal immigrants, with plans to allow them to flood the country and
allow them to vote, replacing the 74 million Trump supporters. And
this is in conjunction with the Marxist hate-America curricula being
taught to children in schools, enforced by Teachers Unions that
control education and have massive power.
So it's not surprising that the 74 million Tea Partiers and Trump
supporters are furious, and becoming angrier every day as all this
unfolds. And anyone who criticizes the Democrat Party Marxist-Fascist
regime is called a "terrorist" or "white supremacist."
It's not surprising that anyone would feel this way. But as I'veGuest wrote: ↑Fri Apr 16, 2021 5:42 am> America is collapsing before our very eyes.
written many times in the past, this is not how it will end. Frankly,
the way it will actually end may be worse.
The way it will end is with a "regeneracy event." This is a concept
in generational theory, referring to an event that regenerates civic
unity for the first time since the end of the previous crisis war.
It's an event that presents a strong existential threat to the nation
or society, and forces all sides to put aside their political
differences and unite behind the leadership for the common survival.
In 1941, it was the Pearl Harbor attack and the Bataan Death March.
FDR had been an extremely divisive president, but those regeneracy
events unified the country behind him.
Today, it might be a missile attack on an American city, or it might
be a major military disaster overseas. Today, it's most likely going
to be whatever event triggers war with China.
So now let's return to the e-mail messages. I don't write about "how
are we going to beat the commies," because that's going to happen
automatically following a regeneracy event.
But I do write about things like the Afghan war, or China-Taiwan
tensions, or Russia-Ukraine tensions, or the Burma civil war, because
there are people like me who want to follow the events leading to the
regeneracy event, and possibly prepare for it.
