Meanwhile, rockets are now being fired into Israel... from Lebanon. No word yet on who fired them, but in my opinion it was almost certainly Hezbollah. Could this be the beginning of a conflict where Israel is fighting both Hamas and Hezbollah simultaneously? And if so, who else will be joining in?

What has happened since the 1960s and specifically 1965? Yes, you know, and you should know also who is in charge of these things.

The true turning point was 1960, not 1965.

1960 was the year that JFK, the first "celebrity" president, was elected. Ever since then, American politics has been slowly transforming from a "battle of policies" to a "battle of religions."

The American people at large have stopped viewing politicians as mere elected representatives, and now view them as gods to be worshipped. They no longer vote according to what they actually believe in, but rather in accordance to the political religion they have adopted. They vote out of compulsion, not out of conviction.

The politicians know this. And that's why they think, or rather know, that they can get away with whatever they want. Since 1960, the only president who has had the guts to even address this dark trend was Carter. JFK, LBJ, Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, Bush II, Obama, Trump, and now Biden have said nothing and have even taken advantage of it, often with dire consequences for the American people at large.

It is hardly a coincidence that -- as Navigator pointed out months ago -- that Eisenhower was the last president to NOT make any critical mistakes. Eisenhower was also the last pre-1960 president, after all.

I think this assessment is by and large very accurate. I agree with you.

The funny thing is that this always cuts both ways, but the pricing problem seems to never get any media attention, even though it is a version of "workers unite" sloganing. Supply is there, so apparently they aren't offering enough for the crappy job, or else people would clearly take it.

And before you state that it is because of the stimmy (I don't disagree) this same phenomeon had been going on with the lying chamber of commerce for decades: whining that they couldn't lowball yet another laborer.

He didn't say this exactly, he said it looks like that would be one of the possibilities.

But I'll say it, Gates and Fauci knew this and planned on it. Period. They knew that the likelihood of escape, at a minimum, was high, if it wasn't intentionally released. I have said this for over a year now.

I think Europe will be extremely interesting to watch too. Jews and Muslims already clash in Europe; no doubt this will exacerbate that. France is in an uproar because of two seperate letters posted and endorsed by retired generals and admirals (the first letter) and active duty military officers (though unsigned) in the second. Both warn of a civil war in France with Muslims. The communal violence in Israel may be the excuse the Jews need to explel the Arabs. And communal violence between Muslims and Jews in France might kick off a civil war and ethnic cleansing in Western Europe.
