Separation Trauma Payments?

Post by Navigator »

As if anything isn't unbelievable anymore, I am now reading about the Biden administration offering $450K PER PERSON to illegal immigrant families separated at the border during the Trump Administration.

I thought they were already looney toons, but this is past the pale.

I would like to know if I could take some of my family to the border for a couple of weeks, so I can live in luxury for the rest of my life.

I bet they don't even require DNA tests to prove that the people involved are related (buying or kidnapping children to get into the country is evidently a thing).

That amount of money would change my life. I have paid taxes and paid off my student loans is this my reward for playing by the rules my entire life?

America is better off destroyed that allowed to continue like this.

How about all of the Americans that have been left horribly traumatized by the heinous crimes committed by illegals?

This is BS.

John always talk about how xenophobia grows during a crisis generation. Is it because of policies such as this one?

Biden Wants To Give Separated Illegal Immigrants $450,000 Per Person

Look, I've got nothing against LEGAL immigrants. I was married to a Korean woman for 30 plus years. My closest friend is black, and my current wife is Mexican. Minorities are not an issue with me. But I'll admit (and will all of my non-white friends) that policies such as the current administration is espousing rubs me raw. I'm not xenophobic, but I can see how and why many people turn anti-immigrant.

Thomas, the problem is that in the world of emotions, no one can even have a discussion about the benefits of xenophobia, of which there are, of course, many (especially when referred to from a country/nation state point of view). In the same discussion, one might bring up points regarding the downsides of xenophobia. At this point, I wouldn't even qualify your stance, because when you lead even with your first sentence, you are entering a game that has already been rigged and trying to win over people by showing some sort of compromise or such. The lawmakers are so corrupt, and have been for so long, saying that you even agree with legal immigration at this point is problematic at best.

Empires and good runs don't last forever, but all of this of course began when people were lied to in 1965 re:immigration act (Synagogue of Satan strikes again) when the country was over 90% european. At that point, many details of immigration became "legal" but were based on a lie. And eroded the country. Europeans have enough intragroup "xenophobia" to deal with, but have also enough in common to build things far beyond the capabilties of other people (in certain ways regarding civilization) which is evidenced by history and the fact that everyone wants to go to those societies (until now when they don't run them anymore).

Critical thinking is dependent on language and understanding propaganda. I'm no more xenophobic than anyone else in the world, the difference is that I understand the term and I understand people, who have different potential, strengths and weaknesses.

More Chinese hidden malware?

Bloomberg) -- FIS’s online-payments processing unit has begun replacing terminals made by PAX Global Technology Ltd. due to concerns about their security, according to messages reviewed by Bloomberg News and people familiar with the matter.

The business, called Worldpay from FIS, told partner companies on Oct. 8 that it had decided to remove PAX devices in favor of point-of-sale equipment manufactured by two competitors, U.S.-based Verifone and France’s Ingenico, according to a message reviewed by Bloomberg News.

In a statement, the company confirmed that it no longer deploys PAX point-of-sale devices “because it did not receive satisfactory answers from PAX regarding its POS devices connecting to websites not listed in their supplied documentation,” according to a spokesperson. “While we have no evidence that data running through PAX POS devices has been compromised, we have been working directly with clients to replace those devices with other options at no cost to them and with as little disruption to their business as possible.”

The spokesperson said fewer than 5% of Worldpay clients currently use PAX point-of-sale devices.

Independent cybersecurity journalist Brian Krebs reported that British and American security agencies began investigating PAX Technology after an unnamed U.S. payment processor noticed “unusual network packets” originating from the company’s payment terminals. According to Krebs’s report, the FBI’s raid on Tuesday was also linked to reports that PAX’s systems may be involved in cyberattacks on U.S. and E.U. organizations and suspicions that its terminals had been used as a “command and control” staging point for conducting hacks and collecting information.
As law enforcement is already involved and has seized some equipment I can only hope that they find hard evidence if this is truly integrated capability and not a 3rd party hack. If this bears out as manufacturers intent it will provide a concrete example of the dangers John has been predicting with Huawei.
