Re: Generational Dynamics World View News
The Russians have gone through the motions of sending masses of troops and equipment to the border a number of times now. The objective was to get the other side to think that it is just a "normal" thing that they do.
Eventually the Russians are going to do it. They need the Ukraine for their own war economy.
The added advantage (besides the ground conditions) the Russians will have in the winter is the threat of turning off the gas to Western Europe. Without this, Europeans will be unable to heat their homes.
Since the Ukrainian's don't have any real security treaties or solid guarantees from the West, I am convinced the Russians will eventually go after them. And now that Biden has shown how he values the security of others, I think the Russians will act soon. Putin now has Belarus in his pocket, which is what he needed in order to go after Ukraine.
I don't think the Russians will go after the Baltic states (or Poland) until China makes its move against Taiwan. The will want the US tied up in Asia so that they can go after their own objectives in Europe.

Eastern Ukraine is not historically, or naturally, "Ukrainian" - it is Russian. Belarus is an interesting example of a sovereign already run over historically, that actually benefits from being a Russian ally (cheap energy and exports, manufacturing).
Most of the tales about Russia are just that. Turkey and China have the capability to be major adversaries or even enemies, but not Russia.
The main narrative against Russia is a neocon and leftist narrative that collide because of people I have spoken of before, who hate the fact that Putin didn't let them control and abuse their country after the USSR fell. Period.

CB, do you mean adversary of the United States? Russia certainly has the capability. Maybe not the motive, but the capability. They have at least since the Cuban Missile Crisis.Cool Breeze wrote: ↑Fri Nov 12, 2021 3:30 pmEastern Ukraine is not historically, or naturally, "Ukrainian" - it is Russian. And how much capability does Turkey have to be an American enemy?

There is no reason whatsoever for Russia to be a US enemy. Your point is that Turkey just isn't that strong besides being able to regionally manipulate (conduit of refugees to Europe, etc). That's true. Not understanding that Russia has no link nearly whatsoever to its old CCP days, in fact the opposite is true, but the US wants to keep that narrative for many reasons we can't get into right now (should be obvious from my post) ... is the point. If you doubt this, listen to several Stephen Cohen interviews for a perspective that destroys the left and right US (media) perspective on it, which is from the deep state and about control of the mind of the US population, nothing else.Tom Mazanec wrote: ↑Sat Nov 13, 2021 11:11 amCB, do you mean adversary of the United States? If Putin is your savior, then you have already lost.

Why should people care about illegals taking a shot at further destabilization of the EU? It sounds like this is the kind of thing someone should have done long ago to curb this bad behavior and abuse of national sovereignty of the countries in question.DaKardii wrote: ↑Sat Nov 13, 2021 5:25 pmIraq halts all outgoing flights to Belarus in response to Polish border crisis; announces evacuation plans for Iraqi citizens in Belarus

Steve Bannon has officially surrendered and livestreamed himself at the courthouse where he turned himself in, telling viewers "focus on signal, not noise, this is all noise".
To quote an anon on 8kun, "Steve Bannon is the #1 CCP dissident organizer in America. Now he's riding the pine in an FBI field office getting processed for jail. That says a lot. The FBI is so far up the CCP's ass they can taste the dumplings they had for lunch."
