So when the CEO of one of the largest active US fund managers tells investors to "step away from risk" to avoid being burned in increasingly speculative markets, it is perhaps time to start paying attention ...

3 months away from the inflate or die scenario. Since our Fed and Senate is run by corrupt Marxist cowards and growing, look for a massive dollar infusion the minute the S&P500 cracks a 15% correction level.

We feel the squeeze, politicians worry about elections, the Fed prints.

A Republic is doomed to fail the moment politicians realize they can buy votes through fiscal and monetary policy.

Warren accused the financial services industry of being a major contributor to climate change.
Idiots voted for this level of continued abject stupidity.

ESG investing rapidly gaining momentum and climate change goals looming.

"The Fed is now in a vise. Inflation is rising faster than the Fed believed it would even a few months ago, with higher prices for gas, goods and automobiles being fueled by the Fed’s unprecedented money printing programs. This comes after years of the Fed steadily pumping up the price of assets like stocks and bonds through its zero-percent interest rates and quantitative easing during and after Hoenig’s time on the FOMC. To respond to rising inflation, the Fed has signaled that it will start hiking interest rates next year. But if that happens, there is every reason to expect that it will cause stock and bond markets to fall, perhaps precipitously, or even cause a recession.

“There is no painless solution,” Hoenig said in a recent interview. “It’s going to be difficult. And the longer you wait the more painful it will end up being.”

I really think more and more people are realizing the trouble we are in.

This is interesting. In normal measures of "money velocity" they just count goods and services. But if you include money spent on financial assets, then money velocity is not falling.

MSNBC all day and arrogantly ask me where do you get your information.

Never under estimate the actual stupidity around you.

Always and inevitably everyone underestimates the number of stupid individuals in circulation.

"The stupid ones are more fearsome than Mafia, the military-industrial complex or the Communist International. They're an unorganized group, without a leader or norm, but in spite of that, they act in perfect harmony, as guided by an invisible hand. Cipolla laws.

The real stupudity here is the right for believing all of this nonsense. I'm a liberal, hang out in liberal circles IRL and online and i havent seen a single person talking about this.

Someone on Twitter says they bought 2025 options on oil. I can only find options out to Jan 2024. Does anyone here know of options on oil going out further?
