People cannot connect it as liability to the bank Vin as in parking it there.
We even posted the mechanisms and dates also.
After Rule 2a-7 and Reg T they went comatose. Some.

Studies suggest that mass formation follows a general distribution:

30% are brainwashed, hypnotized, indoctrinated by the group narrative
40% in the middle are persuadable and may follow if no worthy alternative is perceived
30% fight against the narrative.

Of course, after COVID-19, global totalitarianism may be the biggest issue of our time.
Given the loss of actual Journalist it is clear.
As we indicated into this fall it will be obvious.

I have no idea what this massive increase actually means?
It seems like banks depositing cash with the Fed for little interest and the Fed giving them treasuries as security, as if anyone does not trust the Fed to give back their money.

I suspect banks don't want to take the risk of bonds, with interest rates going up, but this way it is as if the Fed is not holding the bonds, when for any risk to the value of the bond the Fed is really owning them. Maybe banks can dump bonds without it looking like the Fed is buying up all the bonds. Not sure.

But I feel this is important and I wish I understood it better.
A massive amount of money is involved. Yes, I agree it must be important

Again, more and more people are understanding the dilemma the Fed is in.

But I bet we get both inflation and recession.

Good point. This $1.9 trillion is around 2/3rds of the roughly $3 trillion the US government collects in taxes in a year.
It really is a lot of money. Must be important.

In hyperinflation there comes a time where everyone is trying to get out of bonds and the central bank ends up buying them all.
I note that bond interest rates have gone up a bit the last 2 days. Again, I wonder if "reverse repo" is how the Fed will hide this.

Again to this very day they fall for the star of eight points.
From Ur to Egypt they now serve in darkness decieved.
Now there was a famine in the land. The symbols changed but it was the same.

Now again the famine is upon them in areas they do not wish to see.

8 minutes forward sums it up to cover forward sweeps underway for capex decisions would suffice.
