That's possible. It's also possible that the CIA or even the CCP orchestrated it to try to knock Kazakhstan out of Russia's orbit.Navigator wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 2:42 pmThis could potentially strengthen the Russian hand. Very fishy that the "peacekeepers" are Spetznatz units.

Again, you are correct that history does some similar things but nothing even remotely as sure as winter coming again, again, and again. I have never died but I will. The problem is that predicting my death, unless I'm somewhat close to it, does absolutely nothing for me - similar to predicting a market crash 15+ years too early. What's more is that (and people on this site don't put enough stock into this) not being able to reasonably predict it, or being paranoid or early/wrong, can hurt you. Big time. Mentally, socially, spiritually, financially, etc.tim wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 3:20 pmYou know winter comes because you've personally experienced the seasons and can draw on those memories.Cool Breeze wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 9:38 pmAnd if you bet me based on that kind of statement, you go bankrupt.
You doubt the Fourth Turning because you haven't experienced the cycle for yourself and have no personal memories to draw on.
This is why history repeats.

Does the date of the Communist Party National Congress this autumn factor into a possible Chinese Invasion (before or after)?

They will have to move before the Nov 2022 elections when the Democrats will be routed and replaced by Republicans who are willing to fight the CCP.Tom Mazanec wrote: ↑Fri Jan 07, 2022 7:57 amDoes the date of the Communist Party National Congress this autumn factor into a possible Chinese Invasion (before or after)?

Or it could go the other way. Kazakhstan has been a very reliable Russian ally and a good member of Putin's proto-USSR restoration. There has been little reason for Putin to have to pay any attention to Kazakhstan in the past so this certainly is a distraction. Any change there is likely to not be to Russia's advantage.Navigator wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 2:42 pmThis could potentially strengthen the Russian hand. Russian-Led 'Peacekeeping Force' To Deploy To Kazakhstan In Response To Unrest
https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/4 ... -to-unrest
Nikol Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of Armenia and the chairman of the Collective Security Treaty Organization's Collective Security Council, has announced that this bloc, in which Russia is the most powerful player, is preparing to send a "peacekeeping" force to Kazakhstan. This will be the first time this international organization has launched a military intervention of any kind as part of its collective security provisions.
Massive unrest erupted in parts of that Central Asian country today after unprecedented protests against the country's authoritarian government that were touched off by a steep hike in subsidized fuel prices. There are already indications that Kazakh authorities are engaging in violent crackdowns on demonstrators in a number of major cities.Russia has reportedly put a military airfield in Orenburg on alert, preparing a special flight to Kazakhstan. The military is also reportedly planning to send its 11th guards engineering brigade unit, currently based in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky.Ren TV reports that the VDV's 76th Air Assault Division's spetsnaz company and a company from the VDV's elite 45th Spetsnaz Brigade will be deployed. GRU/GU Spetsnaz brigades have also reportedly been alerted. 18/
Very fishy that the "peacekeepers" are Spetznatz units.
Though it's military is better than it has been, Russia still lacks adequate long term enlisted troops. Spetznaz units tend to be longer serving with more experience. Also, they are much better at shooting unarmed protesters than your run-of-the-mill conscript.

All the reporting I've seen is of the opinion that this is not a color revolution. Kazakh leaders have done a very good job of keeping Western interests out of Kazakhstan .DaKardii wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 7:17 pmThat's possible. I've read that the "protestors" have been coordinating attacks throughout the vast country even when the internet was down, although it sounds like anarchical mobs of disaffected youths. Maybe it's BLM or Antifa.Xeraphim1 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 07, 2022 11:32 amAll the reporting I've seen is of the opinion that this is not a color revolution. The timing of this with Ukraine talks coming up make it very interesting.

You won't see the MSM address this very significant reason for the revolt in Kazakhstan. It is something that needs to happen in the U.S., France, and pretty much everywhere in Western civilization.
