This war would be different in that it's a crisis war for both the
Europeans and the Russians. How this will all be sorted out remains
to be seen.
So are you on record that this will be an all out "European War"?
Going by the Russian military's current form in Ukraine, and even with their numbers and military hardware, they don't appear have the capability to invade other Baltic countries, particularly NATO countries where they will be annihilated.

Yes, it is. And yes, he is.
If Putin wanted to create the image of a bullying thug, he has successfully achieved his aim. He is getting absolutely battered in the court of world opinion while the Ukrainian president looks like a real deal hero. Putin has made Russia a pariah state which will take decades to unpick. Sweden and Finland will be pushed into joining NATO as they have no other choice. Oh and the Russian soldiers are looking like a bunch of amateurs.
The "court of world opinion"? The same one that won't talk about how China is the worst state going, and it's not even close? The same opinion that blamed everything on Russia for fake elections, etc? Give me a break. Wake up.

And they aren't going to. This board continues to post lemming stuff not understanding that VP is the greatest and most shrewd world leader, regardless of what you think of him. Xi might be with his cronies, as they have pulled off a caper by bribing the sick western pols, but by and large it's really funny just how much all of you underestimate VP. He is much smarter than all of these world leaders and knows all the pressure points. Let me guess, he's just doing this for fun, right? I can't believe the stupidity on this board.

Not even the Russians would hire someone as inept and bonkers as to be one of their agents. So, no. I don't think you are a sleeper agent. you're just a fool.

Do people honestly believe here, regarding governments, that there are "good guys" anymore? I find that funny.

That's exactly what Putin says.

And you are both wrong.

Since this is the "Nuclear War" thread, I thought I should point out that the one place Putin could use nukes without triggering thermonuclear exchange, is Ukraine.

This would not fit his current narrative, that most Ukrainians really want to be Russians, but his narrative will change if his "plan A" doesn't work, and it doesn't appear to be working.

An alternative narrative would be that Ukraine "secretly" belongs to NATO, that the "pre-emptive" strike against Ukraine was needed, as NATO is supplying the Ukrainians with weapons and even troops, and so on, and that Russia's very existence is now at stake.

** 26-Feb-2022 World View: Nuclear fallout

There is a lot of talk by analysts about whether a massive cyber
attack on Ukraine would spill over into neighboring countries, and
trigger a Nato article 5 war. In fact, I saw the president of Estonia
say exactly that.

It's possible that the fallout from a nuclear attack would have the
same effect.

By the way, the radiation level around Chernobyl is spiking,
apparently because Russian tanks have disturbed the grounds around the
nuclear plant.
