The stories about "10,000" Chechen fighters" attacking the Ukraine are Russian BS. The are a few hundred stationed in the Crimea, but Chechens hate Russians and the Russians only use them as special forces units in places like the Kavkaz and Syria. Putin is quite wary of Chechens. Putin uses them as a form of psychological warfare.

There are more Chechens fighting against the Russians in Ukraine right now than fighting for them.

Chechnya is now ruled by Quisling gangsters. Kadyrov's gangsters terrorize the Chechen population. Only chechen traitors serve Russia. Even among the Chechens in uniform, there is hatred of Russians. Many serve to have a pay check and allow rebels to move freely around the Kavkaz.

All the stats that come out of Chechnya are false. The best breakdown on Chechen population is: 1/3 killed by Russian army (mostly through bombardment), 1/3 exiled to Europe, and 1/3 captive in Chechnya.

JUST IN - Chechen paramilitary (known as Kadyrovites) have reportedly been mobilized and are preparing to depart for #Ukraine, according to the Russian news outlet Baza.

It is worth noting that the current footage from the live camera outside the mosque in Grozny does not show this gathering. So the footage must be hours, days or weeks old.

However, there is indeed evidence that Chechen squads have been sent to fight in Ukraine.

I do think that a couple of important points have been missed by the West, in that they don't understand Russia and especially not Putin

The first is the Russia has made sure that it is surrounded by vassal states for a very long time, about 300 years. This to protect the mother country. This was lost in 1991 with the break up of the Soviet Union, and the break up might have been tolerated except for the West's expansion of NATO, which again Russia has been complaining about for a long time. One of the telling things Putin said is that 'now maybe they will listen to me'

The second is that Putin clearly doesn't want democracy and he wants to create circumstances that work against democracy, especially on Russia's borders. And I do think that the West over elevates the merits of democracy and don't listen to alternative views; for instance the poor of Peru, with all their difficulties of living are definitely much more joyful that the average American who has many, many times the wealth. The West now mostly overlooks the purpose of life.

Richard, you get it. I don't even think most people, sadly even on this board, have any clue what you are getting at. I do.

People, the West has been interfering with Russia since the breakup of the Soviet Union, and it wanted to join the party. It got a "No.' Then NATO kept expanding and putting bases all over their border and vassal states (formerly as Richard says), and it's not the Soviet Union anymore, and isn't communist.

The most important point: "Democracy" is a sham. We don't have sound money and the money printers and their friends control the "Democracy". I think this is the largest point that is misunderstood, and shows how sheepish and stupid the little people really are. Muh democracy is the same mentality that led to millions being hurt and killed by a lab virus created in China and used to destroy the middle class, etc.
