After I'm gone, very few people will even remember Generational
Dynamics, and many of them will remember it only with scorn and
derision as the invention of an old Boomer fossil. There will be
nobody whose selary depends on keeping Generation Dynamics alive, so
it will die.
I won't let that happen. Who's with me on that?

Remember that people LOVE pointing out who predicted what after the fact - look at how they eat up memes about stuff like The Simpsons predicting the future.

And over the past 2 years I have seen increasing talk about generational theory on Twitter, etc. particularly on the right (John writing for Brietbart certainly played a role in that). The general idea of the theory makes intuitive sense if you're not deterred by the implications. When people are looking back on this era with curiosity rather than looking forward with fear I expect the ideas of generational cycles could just become part of our collective understanding. Fourth Turning might then go from obscure concept to phrase that every middle school history student will memorize for tests on World War III (like what Balance of Power is for WWI). There are already enough people who may be involved in writing those histories who know who John is, and if they don't they'll eventually find his work via Strauss & Howe with some research. If the Internet Archive is nuked plenty of us have downloaded the Generational Dynamics files to make sure they're preserved, although maybe we should put them in an R2D2 for safe keeping. :D

Well I donated a couple of his books to the Memory of Mankind time capsule. That’s supposed to last for a million years!

We should get an idea of the answer to that question when Biden gives
the State of the Union speech tomorrow.
I didn't see a follow up with this topic. I didn't watch the speech and it wasn't discussed widely. Was there anything of note?

Yeah. Biden gave a very stern warning to Putin, saying that he may circle Kyiv with tanks, but he’ll never gain the hearts and souls of the Iranian people.

Was it that bad?

I see a few news articles (opinion pieces) that say "everything is going to plan for Putin".

Not everyone agrees. Enter General Keene.
