The facts are the facts. If your analysis bears out to reality, then you have understood reality better.

If you understood and said what the covid lies were and are, then you know what it's about. If you don't admit that at this point, you are delusional. If you saw that "inflation is transitory" was false, and it now is a known fact, you have understood what was going on and you still do. If you see what Ukraine was and still is (a slush fund and constant dumping of more money to do nothing but enrich more pols while more Ukrainians die), you understand reality better.

If you posted all these things and are right, what's the issue? The lack of humility for those who were dead wrong about them. A truth seeker would admit the facts, adapt his worldview, and change to make better predictions and analysis. That is rarely seen in the modern day, and is sadly quite rate here as well.

The truth seeker would be thankful for the correction. The ego is what gets in the way.

How do you assess the Pacific front and the European action's effect on the Pacific side? Are they thinking twice after seeing strength or waiting for our strength to be diminished sufficiently? Thanks for the update and please try more frequently if you get the chance.

I think that the Chinese would like to fully assess what happened in Ukraine and why, and then make adjustments to their tactics and strategy.

But I think that their hand will be forced once the economic crisis hits, and they will attempt to blame that on America and then try to divert attention by actually engaging militarily.

The two things that I am waiting for to happen next are:
1. A major economic crisis
2. Major political upheaval in the USA

The underpinnings of an economic crisis are currently present. Anything can tip things, as was seen in the UK over the last couple of weeks. The current ratcheting up of interest rates coupled with the massive amounts of government, corporate and private debt make such a crisis inevitable. We are just waiting for the spark that sets off the whole room filled with gasoline vapor.
(And as bad as it will be for the US, it will be much much worse for China)

I think that the major political upheaval will come when the government arrests Trump. He will call on his ardent supporters to riot and disrupt the government, which they will undoubtedly do. This will make it look to China like the US is in chaos (which it could very well be) and that they can attack while the US is distracted by internal disorder.

Both of these things can happen now at any time.

Thank you for your reply. I agree that the time of waiting is coming to an end. However the conflict evolves, how can we imagine the effects on ourselves and families? Your book is sobering and helpful for that purpose.
The semiconductor CHIPS ACT put into practice should act as major catalyst. It might be the blame for annexing Taiwan.
Election interference is an excellent method to undermine democracy. We know they're doing it. The markets are under extreme duress presently. We could have a contested election with crashing markets, partial bank holidays and even a nuclear strike on the other side. I'm hoping it gets pushed back to next year for more time to prepare. It's getting stressful. Thanks for your help!

First: "Trump Supporters are Racist". Some may be, but all are NOT. To label them so is no different than the erroneous statement that "All people of some ethnicity are thieves and murderers".
