I do neither of the above. Part of the problem is you seem to not understand that Madow is a partisan of the far left. If you watch her, you have no room to criticize those who watch, say, Tucker Carlson.Bob Butler wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 7:23 amGiven a choice between Q making up conspiracy theories and Rachel following the court findings, no choice?

Re: Disowned?
The main stream media and the courts are pretty much in sync. Even Trump’s appointee judges have rejected the Big Lie and much of what Trump has been presenting. Rachel and much of the MSM is definitely partisan, are operating under a certain worldview.Xeraphim1 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 6:52 pmI do neither of the above. Tucker Carlson, much of Faux, and other outlets of that ilk are partisan the other way. They will spin things favorably to Trump whenever possible. If you consider how many legal difficulties Trump is in, that is quite an accomplishment. It is almost possible to view Faux as an opposite partisan platform, but when the midterms are over and there reluctance in indict has passed, I don’t see it possible to keep one’s head in the sand.
But QAnon and the conspiracy theorists who make up propaganda without basis or evidence go beyond partisanship. Someone is assaulted with a hammer and sent to a trauma center and that becomes a kinky sex act? Demon worshipers eating babies? This is propaganda and lies not limited by any relationship with the truth.
The three are not the same thing.

Education, Job and Language
I focused on a good education that yielded a good job and so had it good. Even in traveling the country in areas including California, Delaware, Georgia and Montana having English as my only language wasn't a bit of a problem. Were you unable to get a good education or job? Did you have language problems? How so?Guest wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 9:57 pmBob is an old Boomer cuck, so he had it good and doesn't care that he leaves disaster in his wake as he prepares to depart for Hell.

Re: Disowned?
I haven't said anything about particular court cases or particular news stories. I've made the observation that Maddow is a partisan of the far Left and what she and others of her ilk cover is flavored by that. And yes, commentators on Fox (your childish insult is noted) are much the same, just on the opposite side. If you don't recognize that fact, it indicates a pretty big flaw in your world view.Bob Butler wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 7:26 pmThe main stream media and the courts are pretty much in sync. Two Worldviews in Conflict
How do I see the difference in worldviews?Xeraphim1 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 02, 2022 1:06 amI haven't said anything about particular court cases or particular news stories. Red desiring to force one’s culture on others, disregarding freedom, equality and choice.
Red presenting white culture as superior, again disregarding freedom, equality and choice.
Red valuing one language over another, presenting ones own language as superior, disregarding freedom and equality. As with the above two, this touches upon racism.
Blue valuing rule of law, and thus having a dislike of Trump and his surplus of legal problems, and believing none are above the law.
Believing in elections, in a peaceful transfer of power, in providing a non violent way for the people to provide input to government policy. Rejecting insurrection and violence as a political tool.
Does this make me and Rachel partisan? Freedom, equality, democracy and respect for the law seem fairly basic western values. Racism, oppression, violence and control over others are their opposites, left over from prior ages, being removed slowly, one crisis at a time. There is a reason why the main stream media is the main stream. If these represent a flaw in my worldview, so be it. I see championing these American values as patriotic.
Others seem to view white superiority as patriotic, imposing one's values, control and oppression on others. That is not my choice.
Feel free to list the important differences differently and somehow come to the opposite conclusion.
But favoring in a partisan fashion Blue values over Red? Guilty as charged.
Re: Education, Job and Language
Uh, Bob, America has changed beyond all recognition. I graduated from a military college; I have always managed to land good jobs. What I have noticed is how much America has degraded around me. Open borders and wokery has failed completely. I had to buy a beach house with own money, unlike the house your parents gave you. You have had it easy. When you get to hell, they will explain it to you. Until then, continue to wallow in your brain fog.Bob Butler wrote: ↑Wed Nov 02, 2022 12:22 amI focused on a good education that yielded a good job and so had it good. Oppression
The way I see the Red mind set, the white protestants have always been dominant. Other races can always be oppressed, black people lynched, native lands stolen, asian women denied visas, jobs denied to Irishmen, etc. Protestant values can always be forced on other cultures. All some people want is to be able to continue the traditional oppression. Crisis by crisis, this keeps getting harder to do, resulting in much wailing, complaint and lawlessness.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Nov 02, 2022 4:54 amUh, Bob, America has changed beyond all recognition. I agree that immigration is a problem. Well before I inherited the beach house, I bought the place I rent now with my own money. The complaints I have are not about my problems, which I can generally take care of myself (excepting the brain tumor). Get a good education and a good job, you are OK. My parents, siblings, nephew and niece have repeated the process, so it is not about what generation you are in. The problems grow from my old Christian morality, that one is supposed to love one’s neighbor, to speak up and fight oppression. Many do not do that. They would rather oppress and control.
But if you want to continue to oppress people, they will push back. If hell were more than a myth, I could see these people there.

I'm not going to try to convert you to any particular world view nor am I going to detail the specific differences between the two ends of the spectrum.Bob Butler wrote: ↑Wed Nov 02, 2022 2:11 amHow do I see the difference in worldviews?Xeraphim1 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 02, 2022 1:06 amI haven't said anything about particular court cases or particular news stories. What I will say is that you have a childish view of the differences of right/left and don't seem the see any of the flaws or excesses of the left.
So be it. I won't bother you any more because I don't have time for the willfully obtuse.
