Zelenskyy is running for the exit? Oh good, maybe we can have peace for once.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Nov 10, 2022 10:27 amIt's a great day when Orcs are running for the exits.
It's also ironically appropriate that the Russians looted/took Potemkin's Kherson buried bones with them as he was Catherine II's right hand man responsible for Russia invading Ukraine centuries before.
In the coming months, it's time for the West to help Ukrainians remove the Orcs from the rest of Ukraine including sending ATACMS to speed their exit, especially with the Iranians now sending the Russians ballistic missiles. ATACMS can also help take out Iranian drone operators and drones in Crimea.

What, I wonder, when I look at the faces of those generals, do they think of Putin. Despise him I would guess for ever carrying out such a damaging invasion and the public humiliation he heaps on them.FullMoon wrote: ↑Thu Nov 10, 2022 6:46 pmThis message brought to us by Lockheed MartinGuest wrote: ↑Thu Nov 10, 2022 10:27 amIt's a great day when Orcs are running for the exits.

I hope they meet in secret to plan a coup against him, the secret service and his most hardline opponents and then seek to treaty with Ukraine and the West. A big hope I know, but you never no. Certainly Putin as a few tons of horrible karma coming his way.
Re: Generational Dynamics World View News
Kherson was the only major city they managed to take. Losing a city is of enormous political & military significance since generally speaking they are naturally fortified and therefore the most defendable type of terrain. Infantry hold ground and defend it. This tells us the Russians, whose traditional military advantage is vast numbers of men, couldn't hold a city, even when it was immune to encirclement due to a major river running through it. Cities are so difficult to take that conventionally attackers would disrupt a defence with both chemicals and smoke. The chemicals wouldn't be used or thought of as a 'weapon of mass destruction', rather they'd merely force any serious defence to don chemical suits which would degrade their abilty to communicate or co-ordinate. Causing the deaths of all civilians in this case would be collateral militarily but not politically. Interestingly in this instance the local partisans & population are on the side of the 'Nazis', a minor little conundrum the Muscovite propagandists have failed to consider. Every war teaches new lessons & provokes new fears. Here drones may have rendered all terrestrial forces obsolete BUT a reason why most advanced modern war is rare these days is not just its hyperbolically-increasing cost but the unavailability of silicon chips at any cost. Will future cost-effective war use somewhat less sophisticated weaponry from a more carefully determined armoury, whilst tens of thousands of drones darken the sky?

tactical nuke time?
1) russians have pulled out of Kherson
2) Ukranian army moves in (putting all in one spot)

I've seen conjecture that it seems like it could be a trap. Lots of talk about the upstream dam. Most agree this is an important time and location for the war, and the retreat seems somewhat premature. But also that they can't adequately resupply across the river and retreat is necessary. We will soon find out. I hope it's not nuke time for everyone's sake.guest wrote: ↑Fri Nov 11, 2022 9:36 amtactical nuke time?

There is no reason why the Russians would nuke anyone. Americans and Zelenskyy, far more likely to make the Anglo-Zio bankster move first.FullMoon wrote: ↑Fri Nov 11, 2022 10:15 amI've seen conjecture that it seems like it could be a trap. Re: Generational Dynamics World View News
Just five weeks ago Russia "annexed" Kherson along with three other provinces of Ukraine. This despite not fully controlling any of them. As of today, the only major city captured by Russian, Kherson (city) is now liberated by Ukraine. The "Russia is here forever" signs are being ripped down. This is not going down well in Russia among the supporters of the war. Bloggers are writing such things as:
"I will never forget this murder of Russia hopes. This betrayal will be carved on my heart for centuries." ['Zastavny']
"This is a massive geopolitical defeat for Putin and Russia…the defence ministry lost the trust of society long ago…now trust in the president will disappear." [ 'Zloi Zhurnalist']
Pundit Igor Shishkin says they shouldn't pretend that a defeat was a "victory or some cunning move"
Host Ivan Trushkin responds that people just "keep their traps shut"
This is going to be a problem for Putin because it is getting increasingly hard to spin all the bad news. It is also leading to internal contradictions. As one TV announcer put it (paraphrased), if I endorse the withdrawal from Kherson I'm not supporting the sovereign borders of Russia for which I can be put in jail, but if I speak against it I'd be defaming the military for which I can be put in jail. When even your supporters don't know what is allowed, you're having problems.
