I certainly would have been for shooting
down the balloon the minute it entered
US airspace. I would not have
criticized any leader for doing so.
I am not sure how Trump shooting it down
earlier would have been "sticking it in
the ear" of the establishment. (or
anyone else)
I think that Biden is naively thinking
that not shooting it down would somehow
ease tensions with the Chinese. We both
know that is impossible.
Biden is trying to placate the Chinese
and their apologists. The Chinese are
certainly preparing to attack us. We
ought to be using any and every method
to defend ourselves and prepare for what
is coming. Instead, we are trying to
return to "business as usual" and do not
understand that every new infraction by
the Chinese that we allow is only
emboldening them.
The balloon is just one example. You
can look at Afghanistan, the southern
border, the northern border, crime in
the Democrat-run cities, the war on
energy, the trillions of dollars in
spending on his political cronies, etc.
In every Trump policy, he acted to
America's advantage, not his own as you
claim. And he was always criticized by
a loud, endless media chorus of hate, to
which he said, stick it in your ear.
In every Biden policy, he acted to his
own benefit, including massive
corruption, and he was always met by
loud, endless media chorus of support,
no matter how bad the policy was for
America.
That's the context in which Trump was
acting. You can argue that maybe he
didn't always say the right thing, but
he has always worked in America's
interest, and was always massively
criticized by the media. I agree with
supporters who say that Trump has shown
amazing strength and perservance in
America's favor, no matter how much the
media spewed hate at him.
Trump has endured Hillary's phony Steele
dossier, the phony Russia Russia Russia
hoax, the worthless multi-million dollar
Muller probe with 21 Trump haters, phony
impeachment #1, phony impeachment #2 led
by shithead Adam Schiff who could not
open his mouth without some ridiculous
lie regarding Trump, the farcical
January 6 commission where no one was
permitted to cross-examine, even the
phony edited video clips, and so forth.
In all of those phone hate-filled
attacks, you would have Trump just sit
back and take it like a punching bag.
Instead, he always punched back and I,
for one, was always cheered by that. An
example was his meetings with Kim
Jong-un, which were met with ridiculous
hate-filled criticism by the media. I
wrote articles (based on strategy
supplied by Steve Bannon, who is an
expert on both military history and
Generational Dynamics) showing how he
was preventing Kim from testing nuclear
weapons and ballistic missiles, and
Trump was successful in that strategy,
while the media-adored Biden was/is a
failure.
You say that DeSantis would be better
than Trump, but there is no evidence for
that, since the hate-filled media
attacks on DeSantis have been muted by
the attacks on Trump. However, if
DeSantis actually becomes the candidate,
then the media will turn full-force
blasts on him, similar to the "Don't say
gay" attack a couple of months ago.
Biden will just return to his basement
strategy and be the nice, old man that
people love, and let the media fight his
battles for him.
So I have been and am cheered by Trump
punching back against the hate-filled
attacks against him. Trump is fighting
not for himself, but for America and for
the American people.
I'm also cheered by the fact that
Trump's campaign has received $8 million
from donors just in the few days since
Bratt's ridiculous indictment farce.
