BTC is a bigger scam than the tulip fiasco.Cool Breeze wrote: Fri Nov 10, 2023 1:24 pm That's not at all what we said "massive hyperinflation."
I recall Tom and I posting multiple times about how wrong you were, and still are. We have only seen inflation for years now, the only change is the rate of change of that inflation.
Of course, you then distract to talk about BTC, which is fine, because it's going to be your biggest fail. That's ok, since it won't matter for you anyway. But for others, there are reasons why older people can't see it, and it's classic.
Of course, you won't post when it goes to All Time Highs and say you are wrong. Howlong does the network have to keep going, and increase in value over time until you claim "it can't last"? LOL. Will you be a bear/tuliptard/dinosaur when it goes to six figures next year or in 2025? I often wonder.
My guess is that you just won't post about it, you'll be so embarrassed.

I don’t have the background to decide on BTC. It may be the biggest bonanza in history or the biggest scam. But putting more money into the system is the definition of inflation and that is what I expected and what we got.

John, do you agree with these analysts? If so, what do you think these attacks would look like? Huge, like 9-11? Or several smaller attacks, like 10-7? Any particular area/s? Coming soon or later? Do intelligence agencies also warn of this? Remember the "Threat Levels" after 9-11; which level are we at presently? Of course, those were useless except to raise situational awareness, which I think is a good idea.John wrote: Sun Nov 05, 2023 5:45 pm ** 05-Nov-2023 World View: Sunday morning analyses on Mideast war
Many analysts, especially on Fox News,
are saying that terrorist attacks by
people coming through the open southern
border are inevitable.
I'm certainly not panicked, just trying to determine if I should be more concerned.

Imagine the time and energy and happenstance that it takes to build a country, and how easily and cheaply and recently that was lost.

At least you're honest.Tom Mazanec wrote: Sat Nov 11, 2023 7:31 am I don’t have the background to decide on BTC. It may be the biggest bonanza in history or the biggest scam. But putting more money into the system is the definition of inflation and that is what I expected and what we got.
Of course, if anyone thinks that BTC is "tulips" not only are they clueless, they're dishonest, and that's being nice. All this does is last, and it is the strongest money ever seen, and quite literally solved one of the biggest problems in human history (double spend problem and trustless, decentralized transactions). If you don't see value in that, you're blind, and most people are willingly so. If they aren't retards.
Think of it Tom: We have solved the debasement and fiat problem. These people act like that isn't a big deal. Hayek's dream has been fulfilled.
Checkmate.I don’t believe we shall ever have a good money again before we take the thing out of the hands of government – that is, we can’t take them violently out of the hands of government, all we can do is by some sly roundabout way introduce something that they can’t stop.
If you can't understand BTC, don't trust me, or don't want to believe it, you get to choose one of two things:
Try to have fun staying poor OR
you'll get the price you deserve.

CB, I am 65 going on 66. I have seen people become billionaires in the Internet. I have also seen people who became destitute going after sure things. I loath gambling and my guardian has his own ideas of what to do.

Finland claims Russia is funnelling undocumented asylum seekers across border
The Finnish Government has claimed that Moscow is pushing undocumented migrants towards the long border separating the two states.
Mari Rantanen, the Finnish interior minister, pointed to a sharp uptick in undocumented arrivals from Russia since August and said Helsinki is considering shutting down some of the crossing points along the border.
Prime Minister Petteri Orpo told reporters: “It is clear that these people get help to get to the border. This seems like a very conscious decision.
“The government’s message is clear: We must take this seriously and safeguard the security of our border.”

Our daughters, and all of our children and their descendants need to be able to grow up in a country which is safe, homogeneous, and high-trust. A country in which we, the peoples of Britain, dictate our own affairs and our own destiny, rather than traitors and parasites who serve megalomaniacal foreign psychopaths who despise us. And above all, a country which simply feels like home. A country which is genuinely ours, as it ought to be.

Imposing Culture
Once upon a time, the British Empire profited by imposing their culture on others. It seems like the shoe is on the other foot now, with the once colonies imposing their culture on Britain. Less fun, no? The US fought a revolution to stop it. What would the world be like if neither culture perceived a right to impose on the other? I guess we will never know.Smith wrote: Fri Nov 17, 2023 3:08 am Our daughters, and all of our children and their descendants need to be able to grow up in a country which is safe, homogeneous, and high-trust. I recall the Sepoy Mutiny and the Easter Rising.
