In March, the SEC announced “settled charges against two investment advisers, Delphia (USA) Inc. and Global Predictions Inc., for making false and misleading statements about their purported use of artificial intelligence (AI). The firms agreed to settle the SEC’s charges and pay $400,000 in total civil penalties.”

tortured, declared an enemy of the state, and executed.
In May 1947 — two years to the day after Nazi Germany capitulated — Witold Pilecki’s cover was blown. He was arrested and tortured for months before a sham public trial in May 1948, where he was found guilty of espionage and given a death sentence.
His last words before his execution on May 25 were, “Long live free Poland!” He was 47.
