John's Passing
Hi everyone,
It is with great sorrow that I come to the forum today to let everyone know that today, at approximately 1PM, John (my father) passed away. As some of you may know, he had been getting increasingly sick over the past three years that he had been in a nursing home here in Massachusetts, and following his latest procedure, he took a substantial turn for the worse until he succumbed today.
For those of you who have been part of this community and have followed my father's work, I want to express my utmost thanks. This was the community that he loved the most and, despite all his accomplishments, Generational Dynamics was truly the work that he was proudest of. Even though I have not been an active member of the community, I have gained so much from my life with him and the work that he has done, and I am sure that all of you feel the same way.
During one of our final conversations, I promised him that I would keep this website going, and I am dedicated to honoring that promise. I welcome all of you to reach out to me anytime if you would like to speak. I appreciate everything that you all did for my father and look forward to continuing this community in the new year.
Best,
Jason Xenakis

He will be missed. I'm empty - knowing we won't hear from him again. Condolences to you and your family.

May his memory be eternal.
And may you continue in a good reflection of him, and with a good and right spirit.

Re: John's Passing
I quit posting here some time ago, but I never stopped reading, and I always looked forward to reading your dad's analysis of current events when he could share them. I enjoyed speaking with your father multiple times and always learned something from him. Like many here, we didn't agree on some things, but he will surely be missed, and his work is appreciated.
My sincere condolences.
Thomas

Jason,
Your Dad was very generous, honest, and passionate. I greatly valued his opinions, and we will all miss him.
We are blessed to have had him as long as we did.

John will be dearly missed. I think his work, especially this board, is a great legacy. He was a good and honest man who helped many to see through the fog.

Re: John's Passing
My condolences for your loss and he will definitely be missed.
I would like to think that he's in a place where time doesn't exist, and he's able to review the whole past, present and future timeline of events and see his hits, misses and guesses. I'm sure he'd enjoy that immensely.

Sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He was a rare individual, a uniquely talented analyst.
While the periphery breaks down rather slowly at first, the capital cities of the hegemon should collapse suddenly and violently.
Re: John's Passing
While not unexpected, this is indeed a tragedy. I found the Generational Dynamics forum by chance many years ago and I learned a great deal about history and warfare from this web site.
I'm hoping his legacy indeed lives on.

My condolences to you Jason. And thank you for honoring your father's wishes. His work has helped myself and many others. We will miss him and his guidance.
