On a personal level, Indians are notoriously dishonest, far worse than the Chinese. Every agreement I have ever made with Indian manufacturers has been broken. This includes substituting different metals in the manufacturing process. Legal recourse in India is a an Orwellian nightmare, and Indians companies know it. India is one of the last places in the world you would want to conduct business. Indian-Americans have told me that Indians are cheats and that they know better than to conduct any business there, even with their own relatives.

The Indian government has always played both sides of the fence and thus is an extremely unreliable ally. The government is also intrinsically corrupt. It's pointless to make agreements with them. Even the agreements with Japan have been one-sided. That's why no one really cares what happens to the Indians. There is no affection for them at all.

India is running out of water. THE END.

There is an extraordinary amount of tension in the world right now. Something has to give somewhere to relieve the tension. My biggest concerns are knowing all the players involved but we aren't seeing or hearing about them.

Clear heads are going to be needed but Trump isn't mentally fit to be making the decisions and Mike Pence and Nancy Pelosi aren't exactly sharp as razors either. Joe Biden isn't ready for what's coming either.

We're in a world of hurt when things start falling apart.

Wouldn’t be 2020 without WW3.

well I gotta laugh. I saw the news today. Trump has been in favor of Weigur concentration camps all along.

I'll say this. If there is anything to GD, then trumpers better go hide.

I am sure he means Uyghurs. These are predominantly muslims who live in China. They have been put wholesale into "re-education" camps by the CCP.

Yes, that is quite right. Of course, what the other guest indicated is predicated on taking John Bolton at face value. I have some doubts his account is accurate or precise, but it is sensational. Otherwise it would indicate Bolton didn't really have a problem with said camps either until he was let go, and I'd need a very large grain of salt for that.

Supposedly, tensions are supposed to decrease in the border
confrontation in Ladakh, because India and China are in talks to
actually do that -- decrease tensions.

However, events on the ground say otherwise. On Monday evening, one
Indian army senior officer and two soldiers were killed in fighting
with Chinese soldiers. There are also unconfirmed reports of Chinese
casualties.
Why on earth have Modi government in India in recent years been in constant conflicts with its neighbours like Nepal Pakistan Sri Lanka China??? When will Modi government ever learnt from its historical war losses??? By crossing over another nation border is equal to declaring war on your neighbours.
