John, have you read this book ("Sapiens" - Harari)? I think you might really enjoy it. If you are dubious, check it out from the Carbridge Library, and read Chapter 13. That should convince you, yea or nay.

Skimming through the beginning of the book, he seems to be blaming
human beings for the forces of evolution. He might as well blame
humans for earthquakes, floods and typhoons.

What exactly occurred in 1994 that constituted a crisis war climax? I'm having trouble pin-pointing to a specific event or battle.

What I'm saying - or think I'm saying - is that the Black Hawk Down
incident, the Battle of Mogadishu, and the ensuing battle that
involved thousands of Somalis, was so shocking that it was the climax.
