There IS an "irrational" hostility between the people of N.Korea and America (US).
(( I put irrational in quotes because hostility between "competing tribes" (fighting for limited "food"/resources) during generational crisis times are not actually irrational, as each is RATIONALLY afraid that the other wants to exterminate them. "Mass behavior" is based on fear and/or euphoria, and when the "panic threshold" is reached (driven by the "fear of losing" or the "euphoria of being invincible") no "government" can stand in the way of the masses. ))
American people "irrationally"(?) think that The Country of North Korea wants to lob nukes at them, and are "irrationally"(?) hostile at those who would nuke them.
North Korean people "irrationally"(?) think that The Country of The US (America) wants to take away their God-like Provider "slash" Abusive Father Figure, leaving them "fatherless" and "without meaning", and are "irrationally"(?) hostile toward their lifelong enemy who only wants their utter "identity" annihilation.
Little Kimie IS a psychopath. That's true. But it's not HIS (sole) fault that the psyche of N.Korea has been bent into the nightmare that it is. He's a product of his nations "fears" (and hopes), just as is every other N.Korean.
Our leaders are not psychopathic (until they prove themselves demonstrably as such), and are simply a symptom of our nations' "fears" (and hopes), just as is every other American (US).
It only takes one to tango, as they (don't actually) say, when it comes to hostility.
The LACK OF MEMORY (in the young) about where hostility leads leads the young hordes to euphorically prune their own society of "excess consumers" with the blade of the enemy.
..and once the ball starts rolling, the wailing of their dying comrades in arms turns that euphoria to panic, then to desperation that if the fight is not fought their very identity will be erased from existence, which accelerates the ball rolling, until abject horror is not only tolerable, but welcome and used as "the final solution" to the terror of life having no value other than to take life.
Then the shock of what actually happened teaches it's lesson, and the young are no longer young, but elder teachers, whose tenure to teach lasts only until they fade away with time.
..and the world spins on..
