I guess you don't believe a word that I've ever written.
Now, why would you say that? :)

Nothing I said above contradicts GD Theory. If you think it does, please explain. <chuckle!>

These wars are inevitable. It's the timing of them, within relatively strict bounds, that is subject to variance.

Panics start actual hostilities, and panic is a function of frustration and anxiety from some perceived existential threat.

Panic is always a bad move, but when "cornered" ANY move seems better than NO move, and by far the most prevalent choices are panic moves at that point.

shutting down all its factories, and they're harshly censoring rural
coronavirus outbreaks. If China tries to reopen its factories, so
Chinese workers will be working together again, the outbreaks will
resurface.
The virus started in China in November. The first case in the United States was in January.

We are going to have to shut down to the same degree as China. We will be catching up.

I don't see Americans, especially the entitled ones, cooperating.

Ever see a video of how people react when there is a temporary food stamp glitch?

You think the xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx when the warm weather comes because the government told them to quarantine?

Ad hominem (Latin for "to the person"), short for argumentum ad hominem, typically refers to a fallacious argumentative strategy whereby genuine discussion of the topic at hand is avoided by instead attacking the character, motive, or other attribute of the person making the argument, or persons associated with the argument, rather than attacking the substance of the argument itself.

Did I offend you with harsh language?

Tough shit. Doesn't change what happened when the food stamps ran out.

Nice little back and forth going on. But without substantive contribution to the intellectual pursuit at hand. Desist and save face, or not. Nothing personal for both sides. Grave matters we face

World War I started when a high school student decided to shoot an
Archduke, causing a chain of events leading to WW I within a few
weeks.

World War II started when a Japanese soldier had to pee and got lost
in the woods, leading his Japanese batallion to assume that the
Chinese had abducted him, causing a chain of events leading to WW II
within a few weeks.

World War III could start tomorrow. Maybe it's already started.

There are two ways to look at that two-month period. One way is to
say that the Chinese got a two-month head start on fixing the problem.

The other way is to say that the Chinese did nothing during that
two-month period except censor and suppress what what going on, so
that instead of being two months AHEAD of the US, they were two months
BEHIND.

If you believe the Chinese that they've conquered coronavirus, then
your conclusion might be correct. But there's no way that the Chinese
have conquered coronavirus. Sooner or later, the coverups will
explode.

It takes very little energy to trip a mousetrap. The efficacy of the trap, though, is not determined by the triggering energy, but rather by the pent up "spring" that kills the little varmint.

Non-crisis wars are what they are because the spring is weak-ish. Crisis wars have massively twisted springs just itchin' to squish and shred.

My opinion is that the trap is being "restrained" by <insert favorite belligerent here> because it's not yet "powerful" enough to thoroughly enough kill "the enemy" in a way that is "satisfying" enough.

(( Enough with the ENOUGHS, already! ))

I don't see that happening until AFTER the next US Presidential election in 2024 (when Trump leaves office), and until the tech is in place to dominate the "communication and surveillance" infrastructure of the planet.

That tech will be developed and largely deployed during the "rebuild" after the pandemic, and the tensions created by the "final steps" of its implementation from early (late January) 2025 will explode into war in the spring of 2026.

The Chinese will not get "what they want" at some point, most likely late summer of 2025, and they (and we) will start off a series of tit for tats that will allow some "Pissing Soldier" casus belli to fling the gates wide open.

..but then that's just my half-assed opinion, of course! :)

Fun times, eh,.. fun times...!!

LOL I didn't say anything racist. The words I used can be applied to any race.

John, I owe you a thank you. 10 years ago I found your site and read your book. When I finished reading the book I understood the theory and saw the cycles in all the countries then I started to panic.

I completely changed my life, moved out of the city, made decisions knowing where we were headed.

I told friends and family about GD who laughed at me called me crazy and now here we are.

I am as ready as I will ever be. I can't imagine where I would be today had I not found your work.

A more intelligent and civilized people would have prepared for this.

You think we are unprepared now? When the Chinese missiles start flying how many governments have Geiger counters?

Americans have become soft and weak.

Fishy has blocked me because of something I said over the internet!

People getting triggered because of words and other dumb shit.

I am a true supporter of free speech you can say anything you want. The coming famine, war, and hard times won't care that you were "triggered".
