For a long term HODLER you are checking the price a lot. You seem very nervous about the fact that gold has outperformed bitcoin for over a year. I was yet more confirmation of the multi month trend - gold up, bitcoin down.

No, I pointed out how stupid it is to "check the price" so as to point out that you can always say "X is crashing" or "Y is gaining" - silly stuff.

Gold is a captive asset already. Nothing is as market based or freedom oriented as BTC. Nothing. In 5-10 years there is no doubt I will be the King of this hill. Go ahead, short it. I dare you.

Obviously you've wasted your life trying to find something to believe in that can give you a very major increase in your net worth so you can be a King. But it'll never happen. For one thing, you're too stupid and gullible to find it. The big fish in the investment pond will swallow you up and in fact they have already swallowed half of your insignificant net worth in 3 months and you can't admit that you are being defeated. And neither could your false idol Saylor, which is why he refused to write down his failed bitcoin investment until the SEC told him to, or else.

I answered this in the Nuclear War thread.

Also, I was thinking of you when I wrote the post on
"The Principle of Maximum Ruin" in the Financial Topics thread.
You ought to think about that.

Thanks for the heads up. It's a good point but I don't hold equities in a "buy the dip" OR a "buy and hold" fashion. Who you are mostly directing this cautionary tale is those index investors who have done so well for so long, and might get ruined. I definitely don't believe in buy and hold in the sense that it has worked before because while you might get anothe 4-5 years out of that strategy, if you're lucky, its time has come.

Now, I think you are referring to my HODL sentiment with BTC - a totally different asset uncorrelated, at least theoretically, or definitely not correlated to FED manipulation in the same way (actually the opposite direction = confidence). I will be able to wait for the extra 20 years, anyway, by the way.

Guest internet jockeys. I'm not old and I've accomplished more than you will ever have in your lifetime, so why would I care? I don't. My accomplishments don't matter, but people on the board know that I'm actually a real person with a real, impressive resume.

If you think spending all your time on Internet boards bashing anyone who is not a white, middle-aged Orthodox male such as yourself is an accomplishment, then so be it. Put that right at the top on your resume and see if you get hired by anyone.

The only thing I've read on this board about you is that you appear to be a Russian troll or a useful idiot. In fact, I just read it 5 minutes ago, again.

Yes, you probably have. Lots of "other locations on the internet".

The conspiracy theorists, as if we needed other people to do nominal things like posting on the internet. We already have half dead presidents, and bought off congressmen.
