Wozniak's opinion is a bit different. As far as the Woz is concerned, what Snowden did was a courageous act most definitely deserving of hero status.
"He is a hero to me, but he may be a traitor to other people and I understand the reasons for them to think that way," Woz said, according to The Times of India. "I believe that Snowden believed, like I do, that the U.S. has a right to freedom. He had the guts to and courage to sacrifice his life for a principle."
Furthermore, Woz feels that Snowden has been vindicated and should be allowed to return to the U.S. without fear of prosecution.
The difference between a balanced individual like Steve Wozniak and Putin shills like Cool Breeze is that Steve can understand the other side of the argument.

I like a lot of John's ideas. I give him credit when he is cogent, right, and he is quite frequently. But not so infrequently he comes off as a sundowning Joe Biden, it's rather embarrassing.

If John is right about China double crossing Russia and trying to take Russian lands, I'll make a thread about how money he is.
I could see China forcing Russia into a "second" front, which would bring about the alliance between the USA and Russia as John has postulated.
I tend to think this is less likely now due to the energy similarities and dependencies that Russia and China have, not that they have any real love for one another.

NATO and the US were told by Putin since 2008 if you keep this up, there is no other way for us to consider any real way out. They kept it up. Coup, more bases, etc.
The US and NATO threw the Ukrainians and others into the grinder. Not Putin.
As another poster rightly pointed out, this is the ideal scenario for the socialist, weak turds that are in the EU, and largely in western europe. They don't have to do anything with their own people or skin in the game - while Ukrainians and Russians perish in the middle.
