I haven't wanted to be too heavy handed. John never was
John recently completed deleted a post by CB in another thread. Not moved but deleted. It was rude and inflammatory. John regularly moved some or most of Bob's posts. Also left alone a bunch of crap that should have been removed simply to keep the forum from looking too junky.
I also note that if some cannot discuss political ideas they launch a personal attack.
Bob has had many instances of doing this himself.
In fact, when John was going to delete Bob's account a few years ago, he asked the forum. I was the only one who said Bob should be allowed to stay for fairness. But Bob haa proven to me on a great many occasions now to have not been up to the task of defending or explaining liberalism. He's about as coherent as Biden but with an even worse temper. I've called for his account deletion now a few times and many people have also complained that this forum is diminished greatly due in part to him. He's effectively a troll who's apparent only function IS to diminish the forum and dissuade serious activity whilst promoting petty emotional fights.
I am back home and using my regular handle, since I can now log in again.
Curious as to where on the board this is occurring. Is it just this main board, or one of the areas?
The side threads are slower moving, so this same Guest (I believe it is the same Guest) moves with the pace of those threads. Instead of multiple posts within hours, there may be multiple posts within days.
Below, I can confirm that "Guest" and "Guest No. 3" are, according to the software, the same poster. Further, I can confirm that this is also the same poster who made the string of posts referred to above that happened this week.
This is kind of strange, as "Guest" and "Guest 3" appear to be arguing between themselves.
I have had to block both CB and Bob on my account due to personal attacks. I think that registration should be required, and that personal attacks result in warnings and then a ban. Registration would help in determining who is making personal attacks, but if you can track by IP address, then you could potentially do it that way.

It may seem strange on the surface. However, if one person has an agenda that involves normalizing a discussion of IQ and race and making it appear that many people are and should be interested in discussing it, then it doesn't seem so strange.

That's a good idea. In fact, using such criteria, Bob would have been banned long ago. He's gone through more than 5 iterations of causing this forum lots of troubles. There's absolutely no reason to be soft and weak with him. He's taken advantage of the good nature of the moderator every time. He's caused me personally to stay away from this forum for periods, and also to lack interest in posting. I've seen multiple different people who have said the same thing.

FullMoon, would you be able to find this discussion? Or at least tell me approximately when it took place, so I can look for it?
Navigator, we'll need to turn the Russians the other way if we want to have a chance with the Sunni/Sino Axis. Do you think we're blundering by getting ever more estranged and angry at each other?
How much will religion play in the minds of the Russians when the Middle East finally explodes and how will religion factor into the equation in determining the parties and course of the war in that region? Will Sunni expand outward?

It was when Bob first joined the forum and he and John were having some long and vicious back and forths. That's why John Crea Bob's own section. I saw that you referenced one of those in Bob's thread.

That's one of the reasons I stopped posting very often here. There are people like Navigator that I think are worth reading and paying attention to, even if I disagree with him on numerous factors. However, what I often see are incoherent rants and bluster that I don't consider worth my time to respond to.
GenX checking in here. My god people this place sounds worse than the Trump/Biden debate. Why is everyone personally attacking each other? It's childish. I've been following John's work since it first started and believe much of his analysis has been spot on. This country is in a very precarious position at this point, but the best we can do is argue with each other? Perhaps and most likely why we are in the position that we are. As John has written and well documented is that past history tends to repeat itself, but here everyone is trying to decide who it right or wrong. That's the exact problem. It does seem like this country is now on a collision course with destiny and it's gonna get really bumpy. More importantly, how can we help and support each other through these very tumultuous times. The upcoming years are going to be rough, very rough but also agree with John that Americans will find a way to work through this.
